{Feel the Breeze}

I rediscovered this high-low dress stashed away in my closet - just in time for summer. High-low dresses are surprisingly easy to wear - they are fun, create an interesting silhouette, show a bit of leg and help draw attention to your shoes! I have paired it with these bright wedges for extra height, a pop of colour and comfort (really good for walking on grass). I think the orange in the wedges really help to pick up some of the colours in the dress. And above all else, I love the swishing movements the skirts make when I walk.. makes we want to run around in circles haha.

 (My mum thinks I look like some furry animal here...)

Today marks a small milestone for me - I survived a month at my new job and did my 10th post on this blog! Gonna celebrate with some ice-cream (of the peanut butter variety) and then it's study time!

{Yellow Flutter}

Yellow is such a happy and warm colour. I seriously need more of it in my wardrobe! I have shy-ed away from maxi dresses since they can swallow my frame but I couldn't resist the soft and feminine cut of this dress and the tiered layers give the perfect amount of volume. This dress really brightened my day - I couldn't stop twirling and spinning around in it and trying to catch the wind. I think I can live in this dress for the rest of summer and spring - it can take me from an afternoon picnic to a night out. I haven't worn these heels in so long, I bought them on a high school overseas trip, at Changi Airport (which is ah-amazing!), 30 minutes before boarding our flight home.. ah the memories :) So yes, this outfit just made me super happy today.
